Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is a Canadian actress best known for the fantasy television show Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' te Enamores. As a dancer and model, Toubia has also achieved success in both fields. Montreal-born, she has lived in Texas since her childhood and always had a blast performing. She's been training in different dance styles since she was young. At the age 15 she was a contestant in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame after in 2008, she appeared as an contestant on Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty contest. In 2010, she was the receptionist of Telemundo television show Aurora. In 2015 she starred in her debut feature film, an action drama called Tattooed Love.
