Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples, an American actor and singer from the United States. Her most well-known role was her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In addition, she played the leading role as Jerrica Jem Benton in the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida, by her mother and father Wendy as well as Ashley. She is the younger sister of Ally. While growing up Aubrey took part in the Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was a valedictory address for the class of 2012. Harvard University accepted her but admitted her twice, the second time to accept her role on Nashville. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and played a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). She was in the filmed television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. In the second season, she was cast as Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder while speaking in the spring of 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples among the best performers under 20 in September 2014
