Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic artist, performer and composer. He combines jazz from the soul genre with R&B to create a unique mixture. She's performed all over from Broadway up to the Democratic National Convention to the European party and concert scenes. Sunshine can be described as Denise White. Her birthplace is Chester Pennsylvania, where she began her professional career singing and playing piano in church. In Atlanta she went to Spellman College where her musical training began on the city's R&B Scene. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was called Stalk You A house 12 released only in Japan The song has been remixed numerous times by producers, and has become a part of her live sets. The singer has also provided her voice for The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. In 2005she took on the role of the lead keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 for a position as the Director of Choral for Dreamgirls The stage show at Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was the subject of national media attention for her four-day performances during the 2008 Democratic National Convention and was then invited to sing at the Obama's inauguration 2009.
