Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz, professionally referred to by the name Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her name was chosen by her parents in honor of the town where she grew as a child. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder is a self-described Jewish has a connection to Ryder's Jewish father. She has also a half-sister named Sunyata Jubal. Ryder's younger sibling is Uria. Ryder and her family relocated to Mendocino County in California, when Ryder was only seven years old. The family resided in an area without electricity. Ryder was a voracious reading book because there was no television. Ryder was 12 when she enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Ryder landed her first film role on the large screen in 1986 at the age of 15 older. Ryder suffered from bullying throughout high school. Ryder hoped her career as an actress would make a difference. However, that didn't happen. However, she was determined to pursue her dreams. Ryder made her breakthrough in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder played successful roles for numerous films. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her performance in The Age of Innocence (1993).
